Frozen Chosin

LIBRARIAN'S SUMMARY

Frozen Chosin is an operational Korean War system built around headquarters management and regimental maneuver rather than individual tactical firefights. Designed as a developmental “Command Post” scenario covering the opening week of the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, the game places players in command of entire divisions and corps, allocating scarce operations dice to launch air strikes, redeploy reserves, establish supply lines, infiltrate enemy positions, and coordinate attacks across a massive battlefield. Battles unfold as a tense series of alternating day and night activations, with the Chinese and American forces enjoying asymmetrical play styles. Frozen Chosin remains an unpublished beta game made available exclusively to Little Wars TV patrons when the YouTube episode first aired.
